Job summary

United Infrastructure is recruiting a Resident Liaison Officer for East London and Essex to be a visible, approachable contact for residents during refurbishment and improvement works.

You will explain works, coordinate appointments, and keep residents informed as projects progress, working closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to resolve issues and ensure commitments are met. Travel across assigned areas is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Resident Liaison Officer or in social housing/public-facing roles is beneficial.
• Strong communication, written and spoken in plain English.
• Ability to work independently with effective team communication.
• Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents through visits and calls.
• Explain planned works and provide timely updates.
• Complete resident profiles and maintain records.
• Coordinate appointments and resolve access issues.
• Report welfare or safeguarding concerns through proper channels.
• Maintain documentation and support handover and aftercare.
