Job summary

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is seeking a proactive Residents Involvement Coordinator to help shape services by coordinating resident involvement activities, events, forums and customer panels, and by recruiting residents to participate. The post is 35 hours per week with regular evening meetings and digital engagement through social media.

You will develop and support volunteers, report outcomes to improve engagement, and build strong partnerships with colleagues and external partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service in resident involvement, community engagement or a similar setting.
• Experience coordinating involvement activities or volunteer programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident involvement activities, events, forums and customer panels so residents can shape services.
• Recruit and support a wide range of residents to get involved, with a focus on underrepresented groups.
• Support and develop resident volunteers, including opportunities, inductions and training.
• Champion digital engagement through social media and other platforms to make involvement easier to access.
• Build relationships with colleagues and external partners to support involvement and wider community initiatives.
• Use data, feedback and impact reporting to show outcomes and improve how residents are engaged.
