Phoenix Cultural Centre CIC in Woking is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to join our community-led organisation.

This hands-on role supports volunteers from recruitment through to development and recognition, coordinating rotas, training records and safeguarding.

The position is on-site, 12 hours per week, for one year, with DBS check required and a warm, inclusive approach essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers or staff.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, induction, and development of volunteers.
• Manage volunteer rotas and event coverage.
• Maintain volunteer and training records.
• Monitor involvement and attendance.
• Communicate with volunteers and team members.
• Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety compliance.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive volunteer experience.
• Collaborate with staff, artists, and community partners.
