Job summary

Athena Care Homes is seeking a Resident Experience Lead for Avocet Court in Ipswich. You will lead the team to deliver a meaningful resident experience, embedding the Connected Living model across the home and collaborating with departments to create engaging activities and community connections.

You’ll plan diverse programmes, build relationships with residents and families, and develop partnerships with schools, charities and local groups.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating activities, events, or engagement programmes.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Builds positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers and partners.
• Understands person-centred care and meaningful activity for wellbeing.
• Proven leadership and ability to inspire colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed the Connected Living model across Avocet Court.
• Plan and coordinate a varied programme of meaningful activities and engagement.
• Create opportunities for residents to engage in meaningful ways.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
• Develop partnerships with local groups and community organisations.
• Oversee the home's volunteer programme and engagement activity.
• Support and lead the Resident Experience/Lifestyles team.
