Job summary

Athena Care Homes' Avocet Court in the United Kingdom is seeking a creative Resident Experience Lead to shape a meaningful, connected and personalised living experience for residents. You will work across departments to deliver engaging activities, events and community partnerships, embedding a compassionate, person-centred approach throughout the home.

In this role you will lead the Lifestyles/Resident Experience efforts, develop a varied programme that reflects individual residents' interests,

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or resident experience within a care environment.
• Experience planning and coordinating engagement programmes, events or outings.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, families, volunteers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed Athena's Connected Living model across Avocet Court.
• Plan and coordinate a varied programme of meaningful activities, events and community engagements.
• Develop and oversee volunteer programmes and partnerships with local groups and organisations.
• Support Heads of Department to ensure meaningful engagement is part of everyday life for residents.
