Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Leicester is seeking a Resident Engineer to join the Oakland Bardon site. You will diagnose and rectify faults on forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites, and perform preventative maintenance.

Applicants should have mechanical or electrical engineering experience, NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), IT literacy, a full UK driving licence, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering and hydraulics.
• IT literate with ability to use latest technology for records and ordering.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, locate and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and inspections on-site.
• Maintain accurate service records and place orders using IT systems.
• Work flexible hours including on-call and overtime as needed.
