Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Resident Engineer to join our Leicester team. You will diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance on forklift trucks and related warehouse equipment at customer sites, covering a variety of machines from pallet trucks to automated systems.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering experience, IT literacy, a valid UK driving licence, and a proactive, flexible approach to field service work.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical engineering or hydraulics.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification preferred, though not essential.
• IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep records and place orders.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and related equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance on plant equipment across customer sites.
• Work with a range of trucks from pallet trucks to IC and automated systems.
