Job summary

Linde Material Handling is recruiting a Resident Engineer to be stationed at a customer site in Warrington, UK. You will diagnose and repair forklift and material-handling equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and build strong customer relationships.

The role combines hands-on engineering with field service, requiring autonomy and teamwork. Applicants should have experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, hold a full UK driving license, and ideally NVQ Level 3.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers is preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and related equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to keep fleets at peak efficiency.
• Service equipment at customer sites and foster strong relationships.
• Work autonomously and as part of a field-service team.
