Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the UK is seeking a Resident Engineer to be based at a customer site. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure forklifts and related equipment operate at peak efficiency.

It is hands-on and requires the ability to work autonomously within a team, a full UK driving licence, and ideally NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Benefits include 25 days leave, pension, company van and fuel card, laptop and phone, plus development

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, forklift technicians, plant fitters, or vehicle technicians.
• Comfortable using IT equipment and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues to keep equipment at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups at the customer site.
• Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at the resident location.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service and support.
• Maintain Linde’s product reputation at all times.
