Job summary

The University of Sheffield is offering an exciting opportunity for a Student Engagement & Development Coordinator in Residence Life. You will engage a diverse student community, lead communications strategies and coordinate staffing rosters to support events and activities.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard (or equivalent qualifications/work experience).
• Experience of producing and delivering communications to a targeted audience, ideally with significant social media experience.
• Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Including relevant creative software packages (eg. Illustrator, Publisher, Canva).
• Experience of CMS platforms and webpage maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on implementation of Residence Life communication strategies across the section, promoting events and campaigns via webpages, newsletters, emails and social media.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyse data, create reports and develop recommendations for service improvement in marketing activities.
• Coordinate content for Residence Life webpages and update in-cycle as needed.
• Attend regular Marketing team meetings and contribute to outreach efforts.
• Maintain knowledge of best practice in HE and develop new ideas through research and networking.
