Job summary

Millennium Hotels seeks a Reservations Supervisor for its London property. Your role is to supervise the Individual Reservations team, ensure procedures for information, rate quoting, chasing, deposits are followed, and to coordinate plans to meet sales targets and maximize revenue.

You will oversee reservations made by phone, fax or email, drive up-selling, and promote Millennium Gloucester and other Millennium Collection hotels across the region.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi task and lead a team.
• Capacity to oversee the Reception operations.
• Knowledge of Opera, crew and blocks Skill in Reception operation.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily tasks and brief the team.
• Sell M&C products using up-selling and suggestive selling.
• Promote the Hotel’s products and services.
• Maintain product knowledge about Millennium Gloucester and M&C Hotels.
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls.
• Suggest and execute action plans to increase reservations.
• Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email.

Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Reservations Supervisor this role includes To supervise the Individual Reservations team ensuring procedures are in place and adhered to regarding information, rate quoting, chasing, credit, deposits. Co-ordinate operational plans to meet Hotel sales targets and maximize revenue for Hotel.

About the Hotel

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes' walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.

The hotel boasts 610 spacious guest rooms and Guests will be spoilt for choice with the array of dining facilities available, including the hugely popular Humphrey's Café & Bar, South West 7 and the Bombay Brasserie.

The hotel is also home to the Millennium Conference Centre which is the perfect place to host your event, with a variety of flexible meeting spaces, including 26 versatile function rooms covering a total of 1,600m2 and the capacity to accommodate up to 600 delegates. The impressive conservatory can cater for up to 300 guests and features palm trees, a piano, exclusive bar area and dance floor.

Reservations Supervisor Key Responsibilities will include:

• Organize the daily tasks and brief the team accordingly to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• Sell the M&C products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
• Promote the Hotel’s (and M&C generally) products and services
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about Millennium Gloucester and all M&C Hotels in your region
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls
• Suggest and execute action plans which increase reservation sales and associated business
• Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email

The Experience & Qualifications for Reservations Supervisor:
