Job summary

Reservations (Cheltenham) is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Sales and Reservations Assistant to support the Christmas season. You will handle enquiries, convert leads into bookings, and promote festive packages, ensuring excellent service and contributing to revenue targets.

This temporary role offers the chance to join a busy team during peak period, with potential for a permanent, full-time opportunity in 2027 based on performance. Strong communication and sales skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales and reservation enquiries via telephone, email and other channels.

• Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, packages and booking terms.
• Manage reservations, amendments, cancellations and customer requests.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver excellent service throughout the booking journey.
• Identify upsell opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Maintain booking records and customer information in reservation systems.
• Work with the wider team to coordinate and deliver Christmas bookings.
• Support general sales and reservations activities as required.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, generating sales and delivering excellent service during one of the busiest and most important periods of the year. You will play a key role in handling enquiries, converting leads into confirmed bookings and helping maximise revenue across our Christmas offerings.

The position is initially temporary to support the Christmas season, with the possibility of a permanent, full-time opportunity becoming available in 2027, depending on business needs and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales and reservation enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.


• Promote Christmas packages, festive events, seasonal offers and other relevant products or services.


• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and proactively follow up on potential customers.


• Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, packages and booking terms.


• Manage reservations, booking amendments, cancellations and customer requests efficiently.


• Build positive relationships with customers and deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the booking journey.


• Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise sales revenue.


• Maintain accurate booking records and customer information using the relevant reservation systems.


• Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of Christmas bookings.


• Support general sales and reservations activities as required.
