Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital in Buckhurst Hill is seeking a Reservations Clerk to provide outstanding service to patients and support pre-surgery scheduling for theatre day cases and inpatient admissions.

This fast-paced role requires excellent communication, the ability to adapt to last-minute changes, and proactive liaison with Patients, Consultants, Anaesthetists and other internal teams to ensure smooth running of bookings and hospital operations.

As a Reservations Clerk at The Holly Hospital, you will provide an outstanding service to patients. Working closely with all relevant departments to ensure a smooth and effective service to all patient’s pre-surgery by accurately and efficiently scheduling Theatre day cases and inpatient admissions. This is a fast-paced role, often subject to last minute changes so the ability to proactively react to change is essential

As a Reservations Clerk, you will:

• Have great communication skills and be able to explain information to patients in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand regarding their procedures
• literate willing to learn inhouse systems and confident mailbox management
• Be confident liaising with Patients, Consultants, Anaesthetists and other internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to step outside of your comfort zone and adapt to challenges at short notice
