Butcombe Group is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our Revenue Team across our pubs and inns. You’ll handle guest enquiries from first contact through to departure, delivering a warm, helpful and memorable booking experience.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup with travel to sites as needed, building relationships with guests and exploring upsell opportunities to grow accommodation and food & drink revenue. Excellent communication and system skills are essential.

Formación

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in reservations, reception or customer-facing hospitality.
• Organised and detail-focused, able to juggle multiple bookings.
• Commercial awareness with upselling opportunities.
• Confident using Outlook, Excel and booking systems.
• Team player with initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under busy periods with guest-focused service.

Responsabilidades

• Looking after guests from first enquiry to departure with a warm welcome.
• Manage reservations across pubs and inns, booking tables and rooms accurately.
• Build relationships with new, existing and returning guests.
• Upsell thoughtfully to grow accommodation and F&B revenue.
• Handle cancellations, amendments and no-shows, keep systems updated.
• Update scheduling sheets and booking notes for site teams.
• Conduct daily arrival checks for special requirements.
• Collaborate with Revenue Team to hit targets and improve guest experience.
