Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Reservations Agent to be the go-to person for guests booking their stay at Hyde London City. You’ll play a key role as the initial contact for guests, providing top-notch service, making guests feel at home, and finding ways to boost sales.

What You’ll Do…

1. Answer guest enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
2. Stay informed about hotel updates and local scene happenings.
3. Quote rates, process, and confirm reservations via email or phone, following department guidelines. Secure bookings and handle no-shows or late cancellations fees as needed.
4. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to keep the team informed and operations smooth.
5. Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to ensure accurate data entry, adhere to pricing strategies, and stay updated on revenue strategies, promos, and offers.
6. Work with the Sales Manager to identify potential sales leads and follow the sales strategy.
7. Maximize sales through upselling and a proactive sales mindset.
8. Promote extra services or packages to enhance revenue.
9. Coordinate with the Front of House team for daily operations.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

1. Experience in a similar role within a 4/5 star hotel.
2. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
3. Exceptional communication skills and excellent command of English.
4. Experience with OPERA (Opera Cloud) and TARS is a plus.
5. Experience in working for Accor hotels is beneficial but not required.
6. Humble, open to ideas, and team-oriented attitude.
7. Willingness to try new approaches and be flexible.
8. Desire to be part of a growing brand and enjoy the journey.
