Novotel London Bridge is seeking a Reservations and Groups Supervisor to lead room sales, coordinate with Revenue and Operations, and ensure guest loyalty. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with experience in hotel reservations.

Based at Novotel London Bridge, the role involves front desk coverage when needed and opportunities for upselling and career development within a busy hotel environment near the South Bank.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or groups, ideally within a busy hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Opera/PMS.
• Good understanding of room inventory, rates, availability and group bookings.
• Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
• Confident handling group enquiries, contracts, deposits and billing requirements.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to identify upselling and revenue opportunities.
• Professional, guest-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good level of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the organisation and quality of the room sales service by maximising the occupancy rate and the average rate per room.
• Collaborating closely with the Revenue Manager and Operations Manager to pursue the highest profitability for the department and the hotel.
• Establishing excellent relations with all customers, playing an active role in ensuring customers’ loyalty.
• Maximising turnover of the department based on the occupancy rate and the average price of the rooms.
• Checking invoicing of no-shows and cancellations.
• Covering front desk when necessary.
