Job description

Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

We are recruiting for a Clinical Research Nurse at our Synexus Clinical Research site in Chorley, Lancashire, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete all relevant clinical competency training assessments and attend all necessary research study protocol training, along with mandatory training according to Synexus COPs/SOPs.
2. Perform visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants as per study protocols, SOPs, and policies.
3. Conduct pre-screens efficiently to optimize patient recruitment.
4. Encourage patients to remain in the study and participate in future trials.
5. Accurately collect, verify, and enter study data into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and related paperwork.
6. Address data queries promptly and efficiently.
7. Create a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for staff and participants.
8. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
9. Initiate emergency procedures when necessary, including cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis management, fire, or other critical incidents.
10. Conduct clinical procedures, including handling, dispensing, and administering IMP.
11. Coordinate with sponsor representatives to facilitate monitoring.
12. Engage in all site operations, including recruitment, enrollment, and retention of participants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A qualified Nurse registered without limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult).
• Passion for the Clinical Research industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• A patient-focused attitude.
