Job summary

The University of Sheffield invites applications for up to two Research Associate positions in Andrew Lin’s lab to study memory using Drosophila. You will design, perform and analyse experiments across imaging, electrophysiology, fly genetics, behaviour, and modelling, contributing to high-impact publications and conferences.

Applicants should have a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant field, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• PhD (or be close to completion / have equivalent postdoctoral level experience) in a relevant field.
• Experience with at least some of the techniques listed (imaging, electrophysiology, genetics, behavioural experiments, modelling).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
