Job summary

The Rosalind Franklin Institute seeks a Research Associate to design and conduct stakeholder interviews, document NHS care pathway pain points, and analyze data to enable SADIE integration in NHS workflows. You will generate user requirements, work across Franklin and Manchester campuses, and contribute to high-impact outputs such as reports and patents.

Qualifications

• PhD/DPhil or equivalent required.
• Experience in life sciences research and NHS workflow context is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and deliver research projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct interviews with NHS stakeholders across care pathways.
• Identify and document pain points along maternity care pathways.
• Analyse interview data to identify opportunities and motivators for SADIE in NHS workflows.
• Create user requirement documentation to align SADIE development with user needs.
• Work in person at the Franklin or Manchester or remotely via online meetings.
• Plan, conduct research, interpret results and supervise outputs (reports, patents).
• Contribute to wider Franklin challenges and lead major research outputs.
• Support and supervise students/visitors and foster scientific independence.
