Job summary

The Rosalind Franklin Institute invites applications for a Research Associate to deliver a targeted project on SADIE, integrating clinical data to predict fetal oxygen availability. You will conduct stakeholder interviews, document requirements, and contribute to broader challenges at Franklin.

Candidates should have a PhD (or be close to completion) and demonstrate independent scientific potential, collaboration across institutions, and leadership in research outputs.

Qualifications

• PhD required or submitted.
• Design and conduct stakeholder interviews.
• Analyse interview data to identify opportunities.
• Generate user requirement documentation for SADIE.
• Plan and conduct research and interpret results.
• Supervise delivery of outputs within a research context.
• Collaborate across teams to advance Franklin's Challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct interviews with NHS stakeholders across the care pathway.
• Identify and document pain points in maternity care.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities and NHS workflow integration.
• Produce user requirement documentation for SADIE development.
• Coordinate research activities across Franklin, Manchester, and remote work.
• Lead outputs including reports, patents, and presentations.
• Mentor and supervise students or visiting researchers.
