Job summary

The Rosalind Franklin Institute invites applications for a Research Associate to map maternal care pathways and advance the SADIE project within NHS workflows. The role involves stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and developing user requirements to guide product development.

Collaboration with the University of Manchester and flexible working patterns are offered. Applicants should hold a PhD/DPhil (or be near completion).

Qualifications

• PhD or Doctoral equivalent; submission considered for initial appointment.
• Experience conducting interviews with NHS clinicians and patient representatives.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct interviews with NHS stakeholders across the maternity care pathway.
• Identify and document pain points and opportunities to embed SADIE in NHS workflows.
• Analyze interview data and generate user requirement documentation.
• Plan and conduct research, interpret results, and supervise outputs (reports, patent applications).
• Collaborate within a project team and contribute to wider Franklin Challenges outputs.
