The Role

We are seeking candidates with relevant industry experience in DNA and Biology Casework reporting. The role involves creating and completing DNA analysis and body fluid interpretation reports, taking ownership of cases, and possibly attending court as an expert witness. The role supports the Business Unit in achieving success in quality, output, innovation, and development.

Applicants should be prepared to participate in shift work and weekend rotas as required, with appropriate compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to operational protocols and quality standards.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of work, including subcontractor tasks.
• Check critical findings following standard procedures.
• Interpret results and evaluate findings.
• Manage exhibits' integrity and return.
• Communicate with customers throughout the case process.
• Prepare expert witness statements and attend court as needed.
• Handle financial obligations and case management system entries.
• Seek continual methodological improvements.
• Assist in operational management within the team.
