Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Replenishment Assistant to join the Inventory Management Team. Based at Musgrove Park Hospital's off-site warehouse, you will order, manage and deliver stock to support patient care.

You will work Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00 with occasional weekends, training on our Inventory Management System, and opportunities to gain NHS inventory management experience while contributing to a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock, stores, warehouse or retail environments.
• Motivated, eager to learn and positive attitude.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 with occasional weekends.

Job description

Our Inventory Management Team is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Replenishment Assistant to join us for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Based at our off-site warehouse, you'll work closely with the Replenishment Team at Musgrove Park Hospital, helping to ensure essential clinical consumables and PPE are available to support patient care across the Trust.

Joining a friendly and hardworking team, you'll be responsible for ordering, managing and delivering stock, while building strong relationships with colleagues across the departments you support. Your role will be vital in maintaining product availability and helping clinical teams deliver excellent care.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in a stock, stores, warehouse or retail environment. However, most importantly, we're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, has a positive attitude and wants to make a real difference within their local NHS.
