NHS Liverpool is seeking a Materials Management Assistant to support efficient procurement and stock replenishment across hospital sites. You will use barcode systems, process deliveries, and coordinate with wards and suppliers.
The role requires GCSE Maths and English and NHS experience; you will help maintain stock levels, raise requisitions, and assist the Logistics Supervisor.
The role of a Materials Management Assistant is to ensure that an effective and efficient procurement service in regard to the ordering and replenishment of agreed consumable stock throughout the organisation(s) is provided to all end-users, making sure that all goods are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Please note that this is a rotational position. The successful candidate will be required to work agile and flexibly across multiple hospital sites for planned periods and will receive appropriate training and support for the systems, processes and working practices at each location.
