Job summary

Inventory Assistant - 8 Week Contract

£17 per hour | Full-time | Temporary | ASAP Start

We're recruiting an experienced Inventory Assistant for a healthcare organisation on an initial 8-week temporary contract.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in stock control, warehousing, stores or inventory management who can come in and hit the ground running.

The role will include:

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
• Picking and packing stock for distribution
• Monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment
• Completing stock counts and investigating discrepancies
• Updating receipts, transfers and stock movements on an ERP/inventory system
• Ensuring correct stock rotation, including FIFO/FEFO
• Keeping storage areas organised and compliant
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and transport providers

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in stock control, warehousing or inventory management is essential, along with experience receiving, storing and dispatching goods. You'll also need experience using an ERP/inventory system and good basic/intermediate Excel skills.

Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

This is a physical role involving manual handling and periods of standing.
