Job summary

Premier is recruiting a Repairs Supervisor in Birmingham to lead a busy repairs and maintenance service. You will manage a team of operatives, ensuring high-quality, compliant repairs and strong tenant satisfaction.

The role focuses on workforce planning, performance management and continuous service improvement, with site visits and out-of-hours rota responsibilities. A recognised supervisory qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising repairs, maintenance or trades teams.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and housing repairs.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance operatives to deliver repairs safely and to a high standard.
• Oversee workforce planning, performance management and KPI monitoring.
• Coordinate site visits, handle tenant queries and manage complaints.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and participate in out-of-hours rota.
