Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking a Repairs Supervisor in Hertfordshire to lead damp and mould repairs across a mobile workforce. You will oversee subcontractors, ensure safe, on-time delivery, and maintain high-quality standards for residents and clients.

The role requires strong trade knowledge, team leadership, and a solid grasp of RAMS and safety protocols. A CSCS card and UK driving licence are preferred, with plenty of progression and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative in social housing or property maintenance.
• Excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, mobile work management systems).
• CSCS card and supervisory safety training (SSSTS / SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely preferred).
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of subcontractors delivering damp and mould repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, to specification.
• Manage productivity, performance, and quality through regular monitoring and site visits.
• Review completed works, coding accuracy, and justification for variations.
• Liaise with planners, administrators, and client teams to maintain smooth workflow and accurate reporting.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site inspections, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Support with resource planning and coordination.
• Build strong working relationships with residents, clients and colleagues, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Mentor apprentices and develop team capability

Repairs Supervisor - Hertfordshire - c£45k + Van + package

There is a permanent requirement for an experienced damp and mould supervisor to oversee teams of sub-contractors. You'll be responsible for day-to-day enquires, performance management, and service quality, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong trade knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a mobile workforce delivering first-time fixes and great resident experiences.
