Job summary

Winner Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join their team in London. The role leads a team of trade operatives and subcontractors to deliver responsive repairs safely, on time and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in social housing or property maintenance, strong multi-trade knowledge, CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence; SMSTS/IOSH would be preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative in social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong multi-trade technical knowledge and team supervision.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card; SMSTS/IOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of trade operatives and subcontractors delivering repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure works are completed on time, to specification and within budget.
• Monitor productivity, performance and quality through site visits and reviews.
• Review completed works, coding accuracy and variations.
• Liaise with planners, administrators and client teams for smooth workflow and reporting.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, RAMS and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections.
• Support resource planning and coordination of out-of-hours services.
• Build relationships with residents, clients and colleagues.
• Mentor and support apprentices and help develop the wider team.

Our client is a leading property services specialist delivering responsive repairs, planned works, refurbishments and voids services across the UK, supporting housing providers and public sector clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative with a strong background in social housing or property maintenance. You will be responsible for supervising a team of trade operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role:

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Senior Operative within social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.
• Experience supervising a team and monitoring performance and productivity.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS, SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely would be preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
