Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a busy social housing repairs contract in North West London. You will supervise a team of trade operatives, oversee responsive repairs, manage safety and quality, and liaise with tenants to maintain high service standards.

This role offers ongoing work with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and a company van. The ideal candidate holds SSSTS or IOSH, asbestos awareness, a DBS check, and a full UK driving licence, with strong

• Experience as a Repairs/ Maintenance/Site Supervisor or similar.
• Experience in social housing or responsive repairs is desirable.
• SSSTS or IOSH Managing Safely required.
• Asbestos awareness (UKATA/IATP) is required.
• Basic DBS clearance is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day repair and maintenance activities.

Repairs Supervisor - Social Housing

Location: North West London
Rate: £190 per day
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a busy social housing repairs contract in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Supervisor with experience overseeing responsive repairs and maintenance works, managing operatives and ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality and customer service.

The Role

As a Repairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day repair and maintenance activities, supporting trade operatives and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and within required timescales.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising a team of trade operatives.
• Overseeing responsive repairs and maintenance works.
• Carrying out inspections and monitoring quality of works.
• Ensuring works are completed within required timescales.
• Managing health & safety and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
• Supporting operatives with day-to-day issues and queries.
• Liaising with tenants, operatives and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Identifying and resolving issues to ensure works progress efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Site Supervisor or similar.
• Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or responsive repairs is highly desirable.
• SSSTS or IOSH Managing Safely - minimum requirement.
• Asbestos Awareness - UKATA or IATP.
• Basic DBS required.
• Relevant trade or management qualification - evidence will be required where applicable.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
