Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is representing a growing social housing contractor in the London area seeking a highly skilled Repairs Supervisor to join their team. You will oversee team members in Reactive/Disrepair Maintenance, enforce commercial controls, and manage schedules of rates for building works.

Strong communication, reliability, and a proactive approach are essential. Essential: manual driving licence; IT and Excel literacy; experience within social housing/local authority sectors;

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in social housing or local authority sector preferred.
• Able to work within reactive/disrepair maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
• Coordinate the supply chain to maximise leverage within the business.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to


• Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain gearing maximum leverage and work seamlessly within the business


• Responsible for overseeing some members of the team in Reactive/DisrepairMaintenance


• Firm Understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works


• Previous experience working in the social housing/local authoritysector


• Strong team player with excellent communication skills


• Proactive approach to work


• Proven track record for being reliable and punctual


• Must hold a manualdriving licence

Key Knowledge:

• Social Housing, Building Contractor and local authority industry knowledge


• IT and Excel Literate
