Job summary

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager / Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations from Preston to Weeton. You will lead a hands-on team delivering responsive repairs and void maintenance to high standards.

You'll manage daily activities, monitor performance and ensure work meets specifications, safety and regulatory requirements. A CSCS card and driving licence are preferred, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager / Repairs Supervisor or similar in social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance procedures.
• Experience managing teams, monitoring performance and driving productivity.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• IT proficiency including Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.
• A valid CSCS card and supervisory safety training (SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH) preferred.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate operatives and subcontractors delivering responsive repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget and to required specification.
• Monitor productivity, performance and workmanship through site visits and inspections.
• Review completed works, job coding accuracy and variations for proper justification.
• Coordinate with planners, administrators and client teams for efficient workflow and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, complete risk assessments and site inspections to promote safety.
• Support resource planning and coordinate out-of-hours services when required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, clients, colleagues and subcontractors.
• Mentor apprentices and drive continuous improvement within the team.
