Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance in Preston. This hands-on role requires managing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance.

The ideal candidate will have social housing or property maintenance experience, strong multi-trade knowledge, and the ability to lead a mobile workforce. UK driving licence and CSCS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager or Supervisor within social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.
• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance against targets.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operatives and subcontractors delivering repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure works are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor productivity and quality through site visits and inspections.
• Review completed works for accuracy and value.
• Coordinate with planners and client teams for efficient workflow.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections.
• Support resource planning and out-of-hours services as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and clients.
• Mentor apprentices and develop team members.
