Job summary

Wates Smartspace in Walton-on-Thames is seeking a Carpenter to join our Responsive Maintenance team. You will deliver reactive maintenance services to residents under a social housing contract from our Walton-on-Thames office.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, proven carpentry experience, and the ability to work to high standards. You will communicate effectively with colleagues and help meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a similar trade.
• Proven experience in carpentry.
• Ability to work to high standards of workmanship and productivity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
