Job summary

WPS is seeking a Carpenter for the Walton-on-Thames area to perform carpentry repairs and renewals across social housing properties. You will work from the Walton-on-Thames office, delivering reactive maintenance services to residents under a social housing contract.

Responsibilities include assisting supervisors with materials, working solo or with others, and maintaining daily task sheets to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a similar trade.
• Proven experience in carpentry.
• Ability to work to high standards of workmanship and productivity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
