Job summary

Wates Smartspace is hiring a Carpenter to join our Responsive Maintenance team, based in Walton-on-Thames. You will perform repairs and renewals to social housing properties, ensuring quality workmanship and timely delivery.

You will work either independently or with colleagues, accurately logging tasks and materials while coordinating with your Supervisor for resources and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a similar trade.
• Proven carpentry experience.
• Ability to work to high standards of workmanship and productivity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join our Responsive Maintenance division, working from our Walton-on-Thames office. You'll be delivering reactive maintenance services to our valued residents as part of a social housing contract.
