Job summary

Bromsgrove District Housing Trust Ltd. seeks a detail‑oriented Rent and Service Charge Officer in Bromsgrove. You will own rent and service charge activities, reconciling charges and supporting leaseholder administration while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will work with Finance, Asset Management and Development, producing budgets and forecasts, with a DBS check at basic level. AAT qualification is advantageous and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial environment.
• Understanding of variable service charge principles.
• AAT qualification or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Own rent, service charge and leasehold finance activities.
• Lead annual rent and service charge setting, calculations and reconciliations.
• First point of contact for rent/service charge enquiries.
• Leaseholder administration and communications, including LPE1 applications.
• Lead annual variable service charge reconciliation for social rent customers.
• Collaborate across Finance, Asset Management and Development to maintain stock and forecasts.
• Support production of management accounts and year-end processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and compliance.
