Bromgrove District Housing (bdht) is hiring a Rent & Service Charge Officer to join our Finance team. You will take ownership of rent setting, service charge management and leasehold administration, supporting accurate financial reporting across the organisation.

You will analyse financial data, reconcile charges and provide guidance to colleagues and customers. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail and a proactive, customer-focused approach in a busy housing association

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a financial environment and understanding of variable service charges.
• Strong ICT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• AAT qualification or willingness to undertake training.
• Knowledge of affordable housing sector is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead annual rent and variable service charge setting processes.
• Manage leaseholder administration and communications.
• Coordinate LPE1 applications and major works charging.
• Oversee annual service charge reconciliations for social rent.
• Assist with management accounts, budgets and year-end reporting.
• Reconcile financial data and support insurance processes.
• Identify improvements to processes and compliance.
