Job summary

Natural Power is seeking a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations in Central Scotland, ideally Glasgow/Ayrshire. The role is home-based but hands-on in the field, coordinating with asset managers, clients, contractors, and service providers to ensure safety, maintenance and emergency response across renewable energy sites.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering/technical discipline.
• Hands-on maintenance, fault finding, or repair of electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of renewable energy sites.
• Reviewing and approving contractor SSOW and ensuring safety compliance.
• Inducting and verifying competency of site personnel.
• Developing risk assessments and SSOW for site activities.
• Recording, reporting, and following up on incidents and near misses.
• Planning and managing preventative maintenance schedules.
• Operating and maintaining HV/LV electrical systems and liaising with network operators.
