Job summary

RES is hiring for an entry-level Site Operations role, reporting to the Site Operations Team Leader. You will oversee daily operations and maintenance on renewable energy assets in Scotland, with home working and travel as required. You will support asset management, ensuring safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in a relevant subject (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised in remote locations.
• IT competency with Microsoft products; training on SCADA may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site tasks under RES Site Rules and Wind Turbine Safety Rules with training provided.
• Provide first-line response to site defects and emergencies to support management teams.
• Perform asset inspections of generating equipment and electrical systems per schedule; check contractors for safe work practices.
• Inform Site Operations Team Leader of issues and risks promptly to avoid impacts.
• Travel to assets with overnight stays as required; work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
