Natural Power in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations across a range of projects. The role is home-based with regular site visits, requiring hands-on technical leadership and safe, compliant asset management.

You’ll manage maintenance planning, safety procedures, and incident reporting while coordinating with clients, contractors, and asset managers to optimise performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering or technical discipline required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with fault finding or repair of electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of renewable energy sites.
• Review contractor Safe Systems of Work and ensure safety compliance.
• Induct and verify competency of site personnel.
• Develop risk assessments and SSOW for site activities.
• Record, report and follow up on incidents and near-misses.
• Plan and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Conduct routine site inspections and produce reports.
• Operate and maintain HV/LV electrical systems; liaise with network operators.
• Support integration of new assets into operations.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rota for operational support.

Site Manager - Renewable Energy Operations (South England)

We are looking to recruit a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager in the South of England, ideally based in the Home Counties area. This is due to the expansion of our site management and HV services in this location.

You’ll join our Site Management Team within the wider Operations & Asset Management department-a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to getting the most from our clients’ assets. You’ll be home-based but hands-on in the field, collaborating with asset managers, clients, service providers, and contractors to deliver operational safety, inspections, maintenance, and emergency response.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of renewable energy sites
• Reviewing and approving contractor Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and ensuring compliance with safety requirements
• Inducting and verifying competency of all site personnel
• Developing risk assessments and SSOW for site activities
• Recording, reporting, and following up on incidents and near misses
• Planning and managing preventative maintenance schedules
• Conducting routine site inspections and producing reports
• Operating and maintaining HV and LV electrical systems, managing permits, and liaising with network operators
• Supporting integration of new assets into operations
• Participating in the on-call rota for 24/7 operational support

What you’ll bring:

• HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering/technical discipline
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, fault finding, or repair of electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and Health & Safety legislation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with wind turbine technology and operations
