Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Site Manager for Glasgow with Scotland travel responsibilities to lead Smart Homes and renewable energy installations. You will manage site operations, coordinate with subcontractors and installation teams, ensure works are safe, on time, and within budget, while maintaining quality and customer service.

The role requires SMSTS, First Aid and a full driving licence, plus experience in renewable energy construction.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
• SMSTS, First Aid and full driving licence.
• Experience of working in the renewable energy construction market.

Responsibilities

• Manage site operations, subcontractors and installation teams, providing leadership and ensuring quality workmanship and customer service.
• Coordinate with senior management, procurement and supply chain to ensure effective planning, materials and project delivery.
• Experience across renewable energy installations, including Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps, with an understanding of whole-house retrofit.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, Toolbox Talks and relevant legislation, including PAS 2030 and PAS 2035.
• Monitor project programmes, progress, costs and quality, providing regular reports and chairing site meetings.
• Manage customer queries and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure company quality, environmental and health & safety procedures are followed and records maintained.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and developments, including HSE, Ofgem and retrofit requirements.
