Job summary

CCS Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance operative to carry out repairs and refurbishment work across social housing properties. You will ensure high standards, punctuality and professional conduct while working with installers and residents.

The role covers carpentry, tiling, painting and basic plumbing, with duties including ordering materials and managing jobs to ensure fast resolutions for clients.

Qualifications

• General competence in the given trade.
• NVQ 2 or equivalent.
• General experience in building maintenance, with a bias toward carpentry.
• Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job time frame and standards by working efficiently and safely with a high quality finish.
• Deliver high quality service to clients and their customers while respecting all individuals.
• Carry out works in line with codes of practice and industry standards.
• Repairs and minor works after installations or remedial works.
• Assist installers with installations and making good.
• Carry out bathroom refurbishment including carpentry, tiling, painting and minor plumbing works.
