Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK seeks a Senior Category Manager to lead the Renewables & Electrification category from Coventry. You’ll shape the commercial strategy, manage supplier partnerships and drive profitable growth across projects, balancing customers’ needs and market dynamics.

You’ll work hybrid, with four days in Coventry and one day remote, reporting to the Head of Category LBM and supporting the Director of Renewables and Electrification to establish market leadership.

Qualifications

• Category management experience in renewables and electrification with proven ranges.
• Evidence of end-to-end category management and supplier negotiations.
• Strong IT literacy with Microsoft tools and databases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Analyze category performance and deliver sales and margin targets.
• Own 2–3 year category strategy and oversee new product introductions.
• Generate reports on pricing, plans and promotions for decision making.
• Coordinate with STARK UK and central teams for local optimization.
