Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Manager / Electrical Project Delivery Manager (BESS) to lead renewable energy projects from development through to construction. This role offers remote base work with occasional UK travel and a clear path to ownership.

You will liaise with DNOs, Transmission networks and contractors, manage budgets, grid connections, and codes, and shape our project delivery strategy as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification, degree or equivalent.
• Experience within the energy, power or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of grid connections, grid codes and electrical standards.
• Experience liaising with DNOs, transmission organisations, National Grid or similar.
• Experience in project management, project delivery, project development or a related technical role.
• Commercially aware with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewable energy projects from development through to construction.
• Electrical focus with responsibility for technical project delivery.
• Liaise with DNOs, transmission organisations and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of grid connection agreements and relevant grid codes.
• Manage project budgets, reporting, documentation and delivery requirements.
• Potential for occasional international travel as the business continues to expand.
• Work predominantly remotely with significant autonomy and flexibility.
