Rise Technical Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical function, overseeing engineers and contractors to ensure end-to-end delivery for a growing renewable energy business.

The role combines office and site work with autonomy to drive process improvements, closely supported by Directors to shape ongoing growth. Electrical/renewables background and strong people leadership are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers, contractors or technical teams (required).
• Background in electrical, construction or renewables advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solar energy experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical function and strategy.
• Manage engineers and contractors across projects.
• Oversee technical delivery and quality across sites.
• Resolve site and technical issues promptly.
