Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Compliance Supervisor to oversee a busy renewable energy installation programme in Scotland. The role blends technical inspection and team leadership, ensuring electrical work meets BS 7671, NICEIC and MCS standards across Solar PV, battery storage and related systems.
You will review EICs, Minor Works Certificates and EICRs, support installers with technical queries and provide coaching to inspection teams, with potential progression to NICEIC
Qualifications
- Experience inspecting electrical installation and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and MCS requirements.
- Experience reviewing electrical certification and installation documentation.
- NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor experience or progress towards it would be highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Compliance Inspectors to keep pace with high-volume installations.
- Carry out remote and on-site inspections, reviewing workmanship and installation documentation.
- Assess installation, wiring and commissioning of inverters and battery storage systems.
- Identify faults and provide technical support to teams and customers.
- Deliver toolbox talks and training to installation and inspection teams.
- Liaise with manufacturers to resolve issues and warranty matters.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
