Job summary

North West Travel in Crewe is seeking an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to oversee electrical governance across solar PV and storage systems. You will ensure installations comply with BS 7671, MCS and accreditation standards, review certificates, and lead audits.

The role suits an experienced electrical professional with strong testing, certification know-how and the ability to guide teams. Crewe-based, 40 hours/week, permanent full-time, salary £42,000-£46,000 per annum DOE.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with electrical installation competence.
• Strong inspection and testing experience.
• Experience with accreditation bodies (NICEIC/NAPIT) and G98/G99.

Responsibilities

• Act as the nominated Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, subject to accreditation requirements.
• Provide technical oversight across solar PV, battery storage and renewable installations.
• Ensure electrical works meet BS 7671, MCS and relevant NICEIC/NAPIT standards.
• Oversee inspection, testing, commissioning and certification.
• Review Electrical Installation Certificates, test documentation and quality records.
• Lead technical audits and support accreditation assessments.
• Manage non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on complex installation and commissioning issues.
