Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a Data Manager to support governance and management of data within a renewable energy environment, helping improve quality, consistency and accessibility of critical information across the business.

You will work with business and technical stakeholders to develop a centralised data repository, define data ownership and governance standards, and apply data lifecycle controls across multiple sources to drive better decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in data management, governance or information management.
• Understanding of data governance principles and practices.
• Experience with master and reference data management.
• Experience with data quality management and improvement.
• Understanding metadata management and data lifecycle principles.
• Experience gathering data requirements from stakeholders.
• Experience supporting data management solutions, migrations or integrations.
• Understanding data integration and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop a centralised data repository for renewable energy data.
• Define and maintain data governance standards and processes.
• Support data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
• Work with stakeholders to document data requirements.
• Design, implement and integrate data management solutions and systems.
