Job summary

GreenPower International is seeking an Asset Data Analyst to collect, manage and analyse data from wind, hydro, EV, hydrogen, and solar assets. The role focuses on building data infrastructure, delivering automated reporting for project teams, management and investors.

You will lead asset data handling, develop Python-based pipelines, and create dashboards. Strong experience with SCADA data, SQL, Excel and Power BI is essential, along with disciplined documentation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher national diploma in Engineering/CS/Data Science or closely related technical field.
• Experience cleaning/processing time-series data using Excel, SQL and Python.
• Experience obtaining operational data from SCADA systems or industrial platforms.
• Ability to interpret SCADA data to understand faults.
• Familiarity with APIs for data access.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Health & Safety awareness regarding operational sites.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI.
• Knowledge of industrial networking (VPNs, routers, firewalls).
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle data across all operational assets (wind, hydro, solar, EV, hydrogen).
• Establish automated data acquisition, cleaning, and analysis pipelines.
• Develop standardized reporting processes and auditable methodologies.
• Create dashboards and KPI reports for asset managers and executives.
• Maintain data pipelines, documentation, and quality management alignment.
• Support maintenance projects with data-driven insights.
