Job summary

Ofgem is seeking a Senior Manager Data Governance to lead the development of governance, standards and frameworks for smarter regulation and better decision-making. The role shapes how data is trusted, managed and used across the organisation, promoting high-quality data and continuous improvement.

You will influence data management practices, embed governance from the ground up and collaborate with policy, analytical, digital and technical teams to deliver practical solutions that support

Qualifications

• Strong background in creating and maintaining data governance policies, controls, processes, and standards.
• Experience improving the quality, consistency and usability of complex datasets, embedding new frameworks.
• Experience translating business or regulatory needs into prioritised data or governance deliverables.
• Ability to work across policy, analytical, digital and technical teams to turn requirements into practical solutions.
